Code Cracking
Learn to create and solve codes. Expand your logical reasoning while developing your own secret language.

Creative Writing
Students who are writing well will create their own poems and short stories; this class includes the study of word usage, sentence structure, and paragraph development.

ESPA
Preparation for the ESPA (Elementary School Proficiency Assessment) test includes: reading, writing, and math skills.

Egyptology
Ancient Egypt was a marvelous world of pyramids, mummies, and the riddle of the Sphinx. An in-depth exploration of this fascinating world will occur using a hands-on creative approach.

Folk Art
Study patterning, old worlds, and art while getting your hands dirty! This interactive class will focus on art of the early Americans.

While learning to play strategic games such as Chess, Battleship and more, develop advanced thinking skills. An analysis of each game and match will provide students with important multi-step thinking skills.

GEPA English
The Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment test is administered to all eighth grade public school students. This class will introduce and reinforce all of the basic English skills students will need.

This class focuses on grammar using Daily Oral Language; this technique allows the teacher to work on those areas of grammar where the children are weak. Believe it or not, it is fun!

Habitats
Study the habitats of many animals and why they are similar and yet different.

Handwriting and Writing Skills
Learn to form your letters correctly while working on basic writing skills. The word, the sentence and the paragraph will be covered.

Introduction to Geometry
This class is designed for the advanced learner who is able to delve into theoretical math concepts while using a hands-on approach.

Junior Great Books
These classes feature age-appropriate materials for the advanced reader. Interactive and interpretive discussions, writing samples, identification of significant passages, and vocabulary development are emphasized.

Junior SAT Math
This class is for the gifted math student who is able to tackle the next step. A high school math teacher will use an actual SAT math preparation text.

Junior SAT Verbal
This class is for the advanced English student who can be challenged. A high school English teacher will use an actual SAT verbal preparation text.

Kindergarten Readiness
Eliminate all educational surprises. This class will help to prepare your child for kindergarten. Phonics, listening skills, basic math skills, and more will be covered.

Kitchen Science
Students will do hands-on experiments using materials found in our kitchens; the emphasis will be on the scientific thought process; asking questions, making guesses, doing experiments, and drawing conclusions.

Knights and Castles
This class will study knights, castles, and various countries. It is designed to get children excited about history.

Math Adventures
Study and review basic math skills in a fun adventurous way. This hands-on class will have your child excited about math.

Math Mania
Patterning, money, and the reinforcement of age appropriate math skills will be taught using manipulatives such as cash registers, Cuisenaire rods, and games.
