What makes The Enrichment Center different?
The Enrichment Center only employs State Certified teachers, not just college or graduate students. Teachers must have a minimum of 3-5 years in the classroom. Most teachers at The Enrichment Center have Masters’ Degrees. Teachers only instruct in their trained fields. Students can attend The Enrichment Center when they are in pre-kindergarten through their senior year in high school. There are only 4-8 students in a group class and only 1 student in a private class.
Does The Enrichment Center have a certain philosophy and methodology about education?
Education must be fun in order for children to learn effectively and efficiently. It is The Enrichment Center’s philosophy to engage students in their work and to show them why they are doing what they are doing. The use of manipulatives encourages a hands-on approach to studying.
Isn’t all supplemental education the same?
No. The Enrichment Center’s belief is that the child must come first. All programs are tailored to the needs of each individual student. We meet the needs of the child, the child does not have to fit into our program.
Can I learn anything at The Enrichment Center?
Yes. There are programs available for all ages, including adults. Since all of the programs are created to meet the needs of the student, you can study anything here.
Do you offer classes year round?
Yes. There is a fall session, a winter session, a spring session and two summer sessions. Private tutoring is available 12 months a year.
How did The Enrichment Center get its start?
The Enrichment Center began 8 years ago at Mrs. Sigal’s dining room table with 8 students. The program has grown and now almost 1,000 per month use these services.
Describe a typical student at The Enrichment Center.
There is no typical student here. The Enrichment Center offers tutoring and enrichment for students with learning needs, for the gifted student and for the student who just needs to have some reinforcement.

Teachers employed at The Enrichment Center live and work in New Jersey towns. Many teachers seek employment at The Enrichment Center because of the positive and nurturing work environment.
Whom does The Enrichment Center serve?
Students at The Enrichment Center are from public, private, or parochial schools and come from all ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. The Enrichment Center attracts students from a radius of an hour’s drive.
How do you account for your success?
While The Enrichment Center is ultimately a business, it is one that puts the needs of the child before the needs of the owner. Our educational philosophy is one of excellence in the classroom.
What curriculums do you use?
We do not use a specific curriculum as students come to The Enrichment Center from too many different districts and schools. We use New Jersey State standards to measure what we teach. We exceed State standards.
